Family Voice Peterborough delivers a range of workshops, and support services for Parent Carers and education settings across Peterborough.
Our work is rooted in lived experience, co-production, and a deep understanding of local needs.
Our sessions are delivered by experienced Parent Carers and occasionally we may also be joined by Professionals who will run Training sessions on our behalf.
Behaviours that challenge workshop 
In the past we have delivered sessions on:
Behaviours that Challenge which was a workshop, first piloted in 2015 by Dr Reddy to support Parent Carers who had concerns about their children’s behaviour.
The programme was designed for Parent Carers of children who are diagnosed, or on the diagnostic pathway, and who present with social communication and or attentional difficulties.
Sessions were led by an experienced Parent Carer with extensive knowledge of supporting families whose children experience behavioural difficulties.

Family Voice Peterborough has a strong track record of delivering sessions on parent participation for both parent carers and professionals.
These sessions draw on our extensive local knowledge and lived experience, helping to build understanding of the value of parent carer voice, co-production, and meaningful engagement in service design and delivery.

Support for education settings
Family Voice Peterborough offers a tailored package of support for education settings, focused on strengthening parent participation and ensuring services are shaped by the lived experience of families.
As a Parent-Carer-led organisation with strong local knowledge and trusted relationships, we work alongside settings to build meaningful engagement with families and embed co-production in practical, sustainable ways.
Our role is to facilitate and support, enabling Parent Carers within your setting to share their experiences, influence decision-making, and help shape services that work for their child or young person.

Family Voice Peterborough acts as an independent facilitator, supporting schools to work directly with their own Parent Carer community.
This ensures that services and approaches are shaped by the voices of families within your setting, not external perspectives.
We can provide tailored support based on your current starting point and priorities.
We support schools to establish and deliver regular coffee mornings and engagement sessions that are welcoming, structured, and purposeful.

Over time, these sessions can develop into individual setting-based Parent Carer community groups, where families are supported to contribute to SEND development and review.
As part of our offer Family Voice Peterborough initially facilitates these sessions to ensure all voices are heard and that feedback is gathered and used constructively.

SEND Information Report Review
We offer a detailed review of your SEND policy and SEND Information Report to ensure they are clear, accessible, and grounded in both statutory guidance and lived experience.
